About Complex Paving
Complex Driveway Paving Projects with Infraset, Cottage Stone and Masonique Paving for luxury Residential Estate Developers.
We are pleased to have worked with a number of luxury Residential Estate developers who insist on quality paving installations rather than the cheapest paving installer. As the professional relationships have matured so more of the design, product and implementation requirements have been handed over to us at Pave Consult.

Infraset Cottage Stone & Masonique Paving
Typically there is a time constraint as paving is one of the final project phases in the developer’s deadline, and installation has to be completed with other sub-contractors, such as tilers, painters and plumbers, competing for space.
This is not ideal as it disrupts the paving installation programme. However we are flexible and responsive and will manage our own project plan around the developer and site.
One our paving projects highlighted is a luxury Residential Estate in Bryanston. We installed 1 100 sq.m. of Infraset Cottage Stone 200 x 150 mm cement pavers, colour Grey, for the complex driveway with 800 sq.m. of matching Infraset Masonique 220 x 110 mm pavers for the individual units.
Driveway Paving
With correct design standards, Pave Consult fitted pre-cast kerbing around all perimeters – a combination of mountable and barrier kerbs, with relevant transition kerbs.
We managed two particular challenges in this project: firstly the complex was specified for standard domestic / light commercial traffic, but the continued building of some units still required heavy duty deliveries over the common driveway, such as concrete trucks and bulk deliveries, which the ‘standard’ sub-base installed was able to absorb. Secondly, the late inclusion of fibre and communications meant service lines had to be laid in trenches after the driveway paving installation – Pave Consult were able to accommodate this and subsequent design.

Hotel Paving
A particularly challenging project was the re-development of the Sparkling Waters Hotel in the Magaliesberg, a project of 2 400 sq.m. installing the premium Corobrik Nutmeg paver.
We successfully planned for the logistics of a remote site for product and material deliveries, staff accommodation and food, project management and supervision.
